Privacy, briefly.
TheAuraFind is a small edit of home objects, and we collect as little as we can. This note covers aura.theaurafinds.com: browsing the site, the Amazon links and the sourcing form. The TheFoodFind app has its own privacy policy.

Browsing the site
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and we set no cookies. Your browser remembers whether you chose the light or dark look; that stays on your device.
The site and our email are hosted by Hostinger. Like any web host, its servers keep short technical logs (such as IP address and the pages requested) to run and protect the service. Our fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which sees your IP address.

03
Amazon links
“View on Amazon” links are affiliate links. When you follow one, you leave our site and Amazon’s privacy notice applies. Amazon may use cookies to recognise that you came from us, so we can earn a commission.
We never see who bought what. Amazon only shows us totals.

The sourcing form
What you send: your name, your email, what you are looking for and, if you like, a link and one photo. We use it only to answer your request.
How it travels: your request reaches Yana’s inbox through Web3Forms, a form service that keeps a copy for 90 days. Your photo is uploaded to our own server under a random address. JPG, PNG and WebP photos are cleaned of hidden data such as location (HEIC photos are kept as sent). Every photo is deleted automatically after 90 days.
Against abuse: to limit uploads, we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, not the address itself.
We keep our email conversation with you only as long as it helps, and delete it when you ask.

Your rights
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Write to support@theaurafinds.com.
Swiss data protection law (FADP) and, for visitors in the EU, the GDPR apply. You can also contact a data protection authority, in Switzerland the FDPIC.
